Thanks to the generous support of the Fundação Alberto Canedo, we successfully organized a food drive to help provide essential supplies to those in need.

With the generous support of Fundação Alberto Canedo, we had the opportunity to carry out our work at their Centro de Estudos, a space that provided the ideal environment for learning, collaboration, and growth.

Economical Sustainability

While considering global issues, we stayed focused on our local role. By supporting local shops and businesses, we contribute to healthy competition, drive mutual innovation, and promote long-term growth in Porto and Northern Portugal.

We also prioritized minimizing resource waste. Though cost-efficiency was important, we avoided cheaper alternatives with high environmental impacts. Instead, we reused materials from previous competitions and school supplies, ensuring both quality and a reduced carbon footprint.

Net Zero Strategy

Net Zero Strategy

As part of our sustainability mission, Aeroflux committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions throughout our F1 in Schools campaign. This involved identifying and reducing our environmental impact, while offsetting any unavoidable emissions through credible, long-term climate and community initiatives.

Our Net Zero strategy focused on three main goals:

Auditing emissions

Using tools like the WWF Environmental Footprint Calculator and GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2,and 3) to assess our digital and logistical footprint.

Reducing emissions

Through sustainable practices—using recyclable PLA filament, printing hollow parts, adopting eco-friendly branding with cotton uniforms and minimal packaging, and saving energy by scheduling meetings during daylight.

Offsetting though Community Engagement

Including volunteering at food distribution centers and educational support programs.

Our goal was to embed this initiative into our team culture, making sustainability a core part of every decision. We believe environmental responsibility should go beyond competition

guidelines and lead to lasting impact.
